Our line of fermented hot sauces has something for everyone and every taste. Â With a box set you can customize your selection for your taste or, you can make sure the whole family gets their favorites. Â All of our sauces are naturally fermented with no stabilizers or preservatives added. Â Fermenting has been used as a process for preservation for 1000’s of years by cultures all around the world. Â It works by nurturing beneficial bacteria (Lactobacillus) which consume some of the natural sugar present in peppers. Â The byproduct of the bacteria is lactic acid which safely protects the ferment from harmful bacterias and fungus (mold).
We ferment to naturally preserve our sauces but also, to lend a unique, funky and complex flavor profile much different than the vinegar forward sauces you’re used to.
Most of our sauces are vegan friendly, except Reap’Racha which contains fish sauce.
